Prices at the pumps to drop 2.2 cents at midnight





Gas prices are expected to drop by 2.2 cents overnight, which means a litre of regular will cost 94.8 cents come midnight Feb. 6 until Feb. 8, according to gas price watcher Dan McTeague.

Well, it is 102.9 here yesterday and 103.6 in North Bay. I don't think I will ever understand the price of gas. Cheapest gas in Toronto is usually The Pioneer gas station at Colbalt and St.Clair W thats just east of Runnymede. Usually cheapest 10am thru 6pm price holds till well after midnight. They've got a price war going with the Petrocan and Sunoco just west of them. About 2 cents cheaper than them.

Problem is gas is only refined in Sarnia and Oakville, yes there is a refinery in Clarkson but it hydrotreats oil and only produces luberication products ie motor oil and white food grade oils. big storage is in North York. Smaller chains and independants buy from these sources and U.S. then ship from there. I know this as I've worked at LORM that's Clarkson.

wish I could but Pioneer is close to home and gives Bonus Bucks not much but equals a tank of gas once in a while.

I filled up yesterday.. it was 93.8 at the Esso close to me in Brampton.. need to go again today.. lots of driving yesterday ;-)

Holy crap....where the heck did you go to burn that much gas....around the block??? With the new underbody protection I thought it might change your gas mileage, but that is crazy <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... adbang.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':headbang:' />

I have for sure added a lot of weigh to the truck, and not just in the drivers seat ;-)



I think I need to get a Predator programmer...

was 92 and change at Pioneer yesterday Rhino feeds about half a tank a week unless running back and forth. Another nice thing if Pioneer runs out of regular and it happens then they sell premium at regular price .
