i did mention to my insurance i was repowerring my hummer all they asked for was receipts for the upgrade and get an appraisal when done if it costs an extra 20 to 30$ a moth extra i would be surprised good point though

like hammee mentioned especially in my case i was getting 8 mpg with the wind on my back LOL !!!! these swaps should increase mileage dramatically

Thats good that your insurance company didnt request an inspection or totally drop you since I guess they are famous for that in the Jeep and Rice tuner field.

Might be a little different with me because I have 8 vehicles insured. If they drop one they know I'll take my other's to another company. That's not a good thing to happen in a small town like the one I live in.

Good Luck

Things are going great. Got a lot of the electrical work cleaned up tonight. I'm going to use my old drive shaft, it's at a shop now. How's your project going?

Almost complete, just need to do some final touches. Just ordered some VDO gauges to keep an eye on things.

I'm going to be looking for new seat covers, Black or Tan, leather or cloth and I'm also going to be looking for a new top, black or tan. Any info on where to buy these items for a good price would be great.
