Yea. I think you are going about this wrong.

You really should have told me when you were @ Darceys, I told you.. electric problems are my thing.

I would start doing the following before I replaced any switches.

Check fuse, and check voltage @ fuse

Check Voltage/Resistance @ drivers side door lock switch

Check Voltage @ Driver side door actuator

Check Resistance/shorts @ Door lock module (for your keyless)

It really sounds to me as if your door lock module is causing issues, or you have a bad ground somewhere along the line.

Thanks to Tom... it now works!! who what a mess...looked like a dog's breakfast in the dog house and here are a couple of photos of the crappy wiring job that had been done and that Tom ripped out... it was a great thing to push a button to lock the doors tonight! We found the left over parts from an afternmarket alarm, also a Siren and module, and god knows what other cables...

but now it works.. just need to get a Key FOB for a '96

The quality of some of that wiring was just crazy. I am surprised that Derek's truck is still here, and not burned down like I would of expected with wiring like that.

It was a bit overwhelming when every panel I pulled off had a rats nest of wiring, but it did feel pretty damn good when all the wiring was cut out and everything worked as it should! (Not that I had any doubts, but I am sure you did Derek, haha).

To think, all I was going to do was check a few points with a multimeter.. who knew I was gonna get into that!
