Can you show some pics of the HVAC Relocation too? Any tips or difficulty moving the unit to replace the CD Changer?

The picture is already listed, the kit is only the bezel and a metal plate behind it for the HVAC, and it also included the new bezel for the three gauges and the radio, so basically I would suggest you just make it yourself from some plastic panels at Home Depot if you are handy.. I thought it was more at first.

As for the difficulty..my doghouse did not come with a CD Changer located in the doghouse, in 96 it was above not in doghouse, sooooooooo I used the new bezel and metal plate as a template and broke out the jigsaw and cut the hole to allow it to be relocated into the spot that most newer trucks would have the CD Changer. I believe if you already have a CD Changer in that location, you should not have to do any cutting at all.

this is a before (hope you can see it, it had the cigarette lights and a "light switch panel" installed where you normally have a CD Changer in the newer Doghouses)

and then the same photo from above..

In theory could I do the HVAC relocate and put a double DIN stereo in?

Having the HVAC relocate is great to give the passenger access to the controls - or a bad idea depending on your point of view LOL

yep, your HVAC cables are long enough to reach.. I don't think many guys use the CD changer anymore.. I believe Rubber Duck has a double DIN bezel too but it would be cheaper to cut and create your own.

I work for one of the National Cell Phone providers and this is the kit we install in a lot of our Techs trucks. Now that being said , the bracket is specific for a Hummer, and the sleeve is specific for a BB Torch, I like it a lot but whenever you swap your phone, upgrade or whatever, you need to buy a new sleeve. The sleeve is "pro clip" and the bracket is buy another company, I will find out the name.. it is about $75 set up but better then the cheaper clamp style and then having the phone bounce around the truck..
