We all know how fragile are H1's and passing the keys to your spouse / gf for a day or week can create different emotions. Because H1 is not as regular Civic on your drive way and its very volnurable to let anyone driving it espcially by your beloved one
hows your expirience and feelings ? would you let em having H1 any time day or nite or only "strict supervision" lol

Ive let her drive it with me riding shotgun, but would not allow her to take it on her own. Ive even let her do some offroading in it, but always with me along. Maybe its the rarity of the vehicles, or my perceived learning curve to understanding the vehicle and its ideal operation, but giving it to just anyone to drive is still not something Im super comfortable.
I have offered mine to my wife but she thinks its to big and cumberson to drive so i could not imagine her response to a H1 , but i would trust her.

That pic has nuthin to do with a woman driver, that truck burned to the ground due to use of the wrong kind of hose on the Transmission cooler lines, it was approaching the top of a long grade, and the hose ruptured spraying transmission oil on the exhaust.
The heat from the burning trans oil then melted the main fuel tank which is what resulted in the fire in the picture.
As for letting people drive my truck, there are only a few that i let and they know they are gonna pay to fix it if they damage it...
Lifes a bummer if your not driving a Hummer...

I let my girlfriend drive my H1 and she's done a fine job.My girlfriend has driven it on her own without me present. Yes, the H1 is our pride and joy for sure, but come one guys, when it comes right down to it it's just a truck. If something were to get damaged I will fix it. God knows I've damaged the truck all on my own before lol.
