Run truck. Shut the truck off. Quickly check fan. If it spins more than 2 revolutions (comes to its own stop after losing momentum) then it's toast.



Easiest way to tell.

I'm still looking i'm planning to buy it in the spring,my money is tied in gold right now it supposed to hit 2k buy the end of the year

Just to let you guys know that the fan fixed my heating problem. It now kicks in at 200 instead and keeps it below 210.

I should of been more precise <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... adbang.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':headbang:' /> I replaced the clutch. The fan was good. Now it sounds like a jet engine when it start turning!
