Heck i would of loved to get a milemarker, it fits between the rails all nice and such, and doesnt stick out, and looks factory. But Due to the shipping logistics nightmare of getting one from the US, i just didnt feel like taking going through the fustration <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' /> . All i would ever need mine for would be odd "situation" incase i get too ambitious <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':mrgreen:' /> and i would most definetly be using a pulley block anyways.. Now for my next H1 project in the future that would be dedicated to a full out fun machine, no doubt i would go all the way when choosing a winch.
Btw i ended up getting the superwinch, and i must say its a pretty robust setup. The gearbox is really heavy duty, took it apart to check it out, and overall the build qualiy is a awesome bang for the buck. ended up getting it for 350$ if i can recall. Regular price was 650$. they were clearing them out for a new line of winches they are carrying. I saw a 15000lb model on the shelfs lately..
Im workin right now on the quick release brackets so i can attach it to the front of the truck when needed and to the back, cant wait till the spring so i can polish up the wiring and finish it up.
