Hi Kevin,

You could always simply make a pass thru harness with some deutsch connectors, at least those can be disabled and reassembled as you would need!

Just a thougt,

I have a few Deutch and Amphenol connectors but they have way too many contacts for what i need. Not to mention the price of those connectors. The pass through bulkhead connector from both sides would be cool but i am ok just disconnecting the sensor side and pulling the wires out if i have to. As it stands now i won't even need to remove the doghouse and the 3/8 hole will be just behind the radio. Later if i have it all apart i may install a bulkhead pass through then when its easier to get to.

I got a bit more done on the mod last night. I have to fix some of the tight vinyl corners that have lifted over the last five years before I can install the new panel with the gauges.

The first Fuel control knob is too sensitive to use. I stalled the truck by turning it just a little too far left LOL. For a solution i installed a multi turn presicion potentiometer i rescued out of an old oscilliscope. Works way better and give 5 full turns throughout the range.

Well, i have not been around for quite some time.
I think last time was Roy's wrenching party a few years back.
Since i have been doing marine electrical mechanical work for a day job but that is nearing its end.
Going to focus back on Hummer stuff again. Truck is running great other than a small coolant leak in a heater hose.
Gotta love this fuel system i installed which has been running since 2014 which is also the longest period in my ownership without having to buy fuel pumps every couple years.
Good to see the forum is still going.
