Battery Box

Post by GreenMeanie »

I need to replace my battery box as there is a big hole rusted through the bottom under where the batteries sit. I suppose i could weld in a plate but i would rather get my hands on a newish one.
Let me know if someone has one. Thanks

Once i cleaned the tray up it didn't look as bad as i first though. I think it will live another 5 years. I just patched the hole in the bottom and used rubberized undercoating over the whole thing. New Interstate MT-78 batteries are installed with some newer better studs.
Still driving the 97 HMC4.  No plans to give it up anytime soon. Truck rocks better than ever!!
I am looking for another truck that is more of a junker i can work on for fun.
