Here's a quick video of how it sounds. It was cold so you hear the engine mostly...I'll try to upload a video on a warmer day so you can truly appreciate the grawwl sound. I didn't want to Rev a cold engine

My H1 is done with a 3" stainless straight pipe from the Y back. Not sure who's kit it is as it was done when I bought it, but the fit in the left wheel well is something to watch out for. Mine could be better as it comes close to the 40" tire. (about 3" on the front side) I want to put 42s on next time but might have to mod the exhaust to do it. The fit under the truck is good though.
The turbo whistle is very prominent. I kind of like it...taking off from a light and blowing a cloud of black smoke into a convertible full of suits in sunglasses is one of my biggest pleasures. The turbo sound is the icing on the cake.
Hope you found a good fitting pipe kit.

42's *13.5 , the exhaust will be close, but should be good. US boys do it. With mine, I had to put the output in front of the wheel well> rattles the floor once in a while.
*14.5 or 15.5, may have to re think exhaust
