I dunno , are you really tall? You make that starter look like an apple...lol and not the typical massive look....

I am 5'9". Yeah the starter looks small but according to testaments from other users
its the best option we have and better than the stock 80 pound Prestolite and spins much faster.
There are other gear reduction starters from Auto zone and Napa for much less money (under 200)
and they come with a lifetime warranty but guys are blowing them left right and center.
I don't want to be under the truck every few months changing out crap.
I have heard about one guy going through eight of them within a couple years only
to end up going with the Power Master and having zero trouble since.
The Power Master only has a one year warranty but a very reputable company behind them.
Time will tell.

Yes that is really amazing to have a starter that light. I hope it stands up for you. Fortunately that's one thing I am happy to say I haven't had trouble with as the last owner just installed a new one before I picked up the truck.

Darn.... I think I just jinxed my a$$.

Please let us know if the the thing gives you any problems GM as it looks like a good replacement option. You have been a testing a few new sources for parts this last while. Much to the benefit of all of us.

Thanks
