Duramax Diesel H2 at event May 24th

Hello All,



there was a H2 that was at the event on May 24th that had been converted to a Duramax Diesel, I was wondering first of all who that was, and then secondly if you did the conversion yourself or bought it that way? How is the mileage with that in there, how is the power??



I am very interested in this..also wondering on what the cost would be to do a conversion like this..

Hey D,



I talked with Richard a great deal on Sunday and know the following,



It is a 2003 that has been converted. It was done before he bought the H2, he has no parts of the factory H2 drivetrain at all.



The Fan rubs the rad when the frame flexes so off-road = BAD!!! Several crossmembers had to be custom made and he is still 'correcting' the installation as time goes, example: issues with AC line routing, etc.



No Idea about mileage though...sorry!
