I'm here in Boston today try to install the rubberduck rear driveline protection. Well, the front bolt holes lined up good, but the rear bolt holes, none of them line up to the original holes. So, i tighten all the front bolts and installed the wire hanger on the rear driveline protection so i can drive it back home and fix it there. I have to drill new holes and re-tap it to make new bolt threads. I have to call Travis on Monday for this problems because he asured me that this is plug n' play.Image Image

Yes, it's a 2008 H2, i don't know why it doesn't line up the rear bolt holes properly. Well, i'm calling the master duck tomorrow to find out the problems and suggest some improvements on his design.Image Image

I had issues with mine too on my 2005 but after some shifting and fancy work.. loosen here, tighten there.. I got it to fit.. but it did take some planning and some time..no need to drill any new holes..

D, that's the first thing i did, i tried to align every bolt holes before tightening it. The problem is the rear bolt holes, all of them are 1 to 2 inches off, so drilling is necessary. I'm a master technician but works at Honda Image . Well, i just got home (driving the H2 for 5 hours at 16.4 mpg Image average highway) and tommorow i'll start drilling and tapping for the new bolt holes at the same time call Travis.Image

By the way, sorry for hijacking your thread.Image

It's finally installed. I drilled 2 outer bolt holes through the crossmember and installed 2 (3.5" long) bolt and installed nut on the top of the crossmember. The middle, i just drilled another hole and installed bolt and installed a nut inside the crossmember. Image
