Hey all,
I've looked through the manual and can't seem to find out what the light is, that is just to the left of the volume and tuning knobs on the factory radio. It flashes about once ever 3 seconds or so when the truck is sitting idle turned off.
Any help would be appreciated.
Mike

I believe that is the theft deterent system. Not sure how it works, maybe the light distracts them. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... e_wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Ok that light is the audio system thief deterent indicator lamp. If the radio ( audio system) is removed the radio requires either a code entered or GM service to re activate it It also trips if battery is disconnected for a long period. It is standard in most GM vehicles we had it in our GMC Jimmy 2001 and in our H3 2008.
