Hey, just wondering if anyone has changed their door pins / hinges?


My drivers door is dropping and bounces when I hit bumps. Starting to get really annoying .


I've searched for a good vid. But they are all Chevy trucks.


It appears that some years you change the pins and bushings or some years the whole hinge is replaced.


So I'm hoping someone has done this for more clarification.

I have a white duece as well. I like those rear side window covers you put on. Did you make those?

Ok there is a super simple solution!


Order one set of Dorman 38437 door pins per door that needs to be repaired and you will be good to go!


These are the same parts used for all Chevy Truck doors from 1998 up


I just needed to take some measurements to be certain


For the window stickers, PM Macgyver here on the CHC and he can make you a custom set!
