Rattle in the sunroof? check this out

Post by citiboy »

An H2 owner on another forum had a problem with a noise and leaking sunroof. He found out that there was a recall from Webasto on a certain sunroof serial number. Got his sunroof replaced under the recall and cost him nothing.

Here's their website: http://www.sunroofcheck.com/eng/index.html

Just passing the info.

I have some rattle in mine on the SUT but its not leaking, seems like the linkage is lose and make some noise at highway speed..

Just looked at the link, Only non-factory installed sunroofs are potentially affected.

Sounds like i will have to look at my rattle my self

If you read the post #2 and #3 or entire thread, your answer is there.

They replaced the whole sunroof assembly of my H2 when it's still under warranty because it's rattling.

BE CAREFUL on H3's water leaks from sunroof on passenger side will short out the BCM module (passenger side forward outer wall behind kickplate in footwell) Truck will then shut down and/or throw multiple error codes. If you note damp spot on headliner at a frame ( air bag cover either side check that tubes are not blocked or disconnected.
