I still want to put in dual batteries...no one have dual batteries in their H2??

Hey D, since you 'love' your optimas soooo much and don't want to switch over to the odysseys, I have looked into how it could be done. You will need to do some fabrication for the hold down tray (easy part) and then relocate the position of your computer closer to the Fuse Bus, that way the extended length tray will not interfer with the PCM. This will also get your PCM higher for deep water crossings!

odyssey batteries are very expensive or I would use them... can you get better then $300 each?

  $314 is the best I can find for the Odysseys, and they are in stock.

   I priced the Optima Red Tops at Wal-Mart, and they are over $200.



   So for my H1 it will cost me about $200 more than buying two Optimas.



  I will get 6-8 years easily with the Odysseys, have a huge cold crank capacity and deep-cycle capability. 



I hunt in New York state and PA in December and my truck will sit at the trailhead for all day on opening day and long hours other times. It can be well below freezing and I want the best cold cranking I can get. That's Odyssey.



  To me, it's a no-brainer.



   I had the same situation with my 28 foot twin inboard salmon fishing boat.

    It was recommended I pay the money and get Surrettes.

    They are the marine Rolls Royce of batteries (actually sold under the Rolls name in the US).



    I trolled that boat for charter and with family and friends and business clients for about 8 years with full electronics running, 4 electric downriggers in use a lot, and never had battery issues again.



  I am having some electrical issues now, and my truck is at Phil's.



   When they are resolved my Canadian Tire Eliminators will be going and Odysseys will be coming.

Where did you find them for 314 Norm??



Kev, how easy is iit to install the two Odyssey? The Wrangler Kit is over %00 USd and then you still need two batteries, that is over $1000..

  If you put in an Odyssey I seriously doubt you would need two batteries; one would suffice.

Should be interesting to have a chat about this some time...
