Friggin fingers....

At least you are heading in the right direction....  Sounds like they will make good!

Alot of work though to pull it off and have re-painted... I would still do a matte clear coat on top for extra protection...

That is the plan, I am stopping by to see Jay tomorrow evening to see what he would ask to make the Mile Marker fit and also powder coat it again. After I get the price I will send it over to RA to see if they feel it is reasonable and will reimburse the cost.

Jay is the fellow who did my skid plate, he works wonders with steel and he prices his work well.

If everything is agreed upon with RA I will pick up the winch and have him do the necessary work to the bumper and then install the hydraulic winch & hooks ups all at the same time.

I asked about a refund today, they responded like this <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... feSpit.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':coffeespit:' /> and then like this <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... prised.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whatever:' />

Well, that is how I interpreted it anyway; read for yourself.

My E-mail

Hi Mark,

I am getting the feeling you have some reservations about reimbursing the cost of powder coating the bumper and making the structural modifications locally.

If you feel that this is not the route you want to take perhaps we should start to look at the option of doing a refund.

It does feel like these e-mails are getting a bit redudant at this point; if you wouldn't mind giving me a call we can discuss this futher. My direct office phone number is 1-xxx-xxx-xxx

Regards,

xxxx xxxx

The responce:

Hello xxxxx

I am not having any reservations about the powder. I have forwarded your information to my supplier to see how they want to handle this. Due to the fact that the defect was at their level they will be the ones to tell me if they want to pick up the unit or give me a credit to pass on to you for the powder. I am simply waiting for this response from them.

At this point a refund is not an option as you have already installed the unit and have had it on your truck for sometime now using it.

Okay if this will help I'll take photos with Newspaper certifying date of Our ARB unit which went on in August 08. You do the same then send it To Road Armour with an Email stating your wishes and the advisement

That it may be posted to both Canadian and American Hummer and four wheeling sites and magazines.
