I don't really have any bling on my truck except the grill and the side steps... I actually like the grill in chrome, and those steps are going the way of the Dodo once I figure out a good set of sliders anyway.

This guy pretty much did exactly what I was thinking about for the interface of the bars and how they tie into the bed rails.
