Hi guys, I am going to put new rims/tires on my H3, simply adjusting the torsion bars up 1.25" ( was told that is the way and all I need for 33" tires ). My question is do I need a front end alignment to be done after rims/tires are put on and the torsion bars adjusted ?

Thanks for all the help.

when Rhino was leveled with a kit we had dealer do it and then do an alignment as it was due for check of that anyway. best to be safe and its cheaper than the tires.

Definitely! Any adjustment to the torsion bars needs an alignment afterwards..

Yes definitely an alignment after adjusting the torsion bars! However... you don't need to change anything to fit 33" tires!

If you want a 35" tire then you'll want to level the front end with the torsion bars, but it's not required for 33"s! 33 inch tires will fit with absolutely no rubbing at stock ride height.

As already stated you do not need to do anything to fit a 33" tire.

I will also add that you do not need to do anything to fit a 35" tire. If you do turn up your torsion bars DO NOT waste your money on a leveling kit they are not needed. With torsion bars turned up 35" tire will rub slightly on the sway bar at full lock but it is nothing to worry about. My 35's did not rub at all until after the torsion bars were adjusted. Do not turn them up to much and I would recomend not going any higher than 24"s from center of hub to bottom of fender. If you go more than that you could run into premature front end component wear

After you adjust your torsion bars, drive around for a day before you get your alignment done to allow the truck to settle. Check your height and redjust if necessary, the YES get an alignment after.

an alignment is absolutely needed after adjustment is made to front torsion bars. it is cheap insurance to make sure that all angles are within spec. I have performed many adjustments on all kinds of Hummers and it is vital to check and possibly adjust anything if needed. it is not a waste of money and I am sure in every leveling kit sold it states to perform an alignment. I can not stress it enough and it is not a waste of money. any questions or concerns e-mail me and I can prove it. thanks cheers
