Air Filter Box Cracking?

Has anyone had their airbox replaced? Taking it in to have that evalutated and the front diff, crossing fingers and hoping extended GMPP will cover it 91K miles now. It's cracked all the way around the tube going out to the MAF sensor. When you jiggle that tube you can see light penetrating through while looking from the inside of the box, could be from over tightening of the air filter clamp, who knows.

Sounds like overtightening GM plastic really hates it but it could be a lazy mechanic who forced air box open without releasing hose. We have had a cracked Fusebox 1st year and top rack rail cover cracked by over tightened bolts done at factory. Last was found when installing wires for roof lights and horn up A frame post. GM used gum to stick it down. Both were replaced but last was a hassel as gobi rack had to be removed and reintalled. IN the rain of course.
