So how hard is it to remove the plastic molding so I can tighten the exterior door handle? Anyone advise?

Ask Steve from Master Mechanics or Polar Bear (Kevin) as they could tell you in a second how to do it...

Ok, you have one of 2 possible things that have happened.

1. The retaining nuts have come loose and gradually allowed the door handle to have some play.

2. One of the plastic parts is broken inside the handle, allowing it to flex.

Solution; remove your inner door panel, peel back the sealing plastic sheet and take a good look at the handle from the inside. If the nuts are loose put some loctite on them and re-tighten them and you are done.

If the handle is actually broken you will need a new one.

Keep me posted,
