Small section of land?

Post by SELWA »

Besides Hummers my other hobby is Remote Control cars. Been in this hobby for over 25 years. Currently I run gas powered cars from 23CC to a 30.5 race ported engines.

We are always looking for some piece of land we can use to run them. Something around 100' x 150'. Anyone out there have some local land that can be used/rented out?

Thanks,

Joe

P.S. I have a few vids of them under JSELWA on youtube.

Those trucks are HPI Racing 5T's with a few mods installed. The Elcon Cleon buggy in my other vids is the only one in Canada

I have lots of parks I can go to very close to my house but for a get together with 10 guys running it's pretty noisy. With tunned pipes some sound like dirtbikes and there may be complaints. There's a park I use that works great but now with sports starting up again evenings are shot. Same place has the Oakville RC Flying club. You need to be a MAAC member to be insured and fly there.

My family has 24 acres on HWY 89 but the hour drive is a bit much for some guys and there's 4ft of grass.  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

A friend of mine also started up an e-shop - www.5thscaleCanada.com. Basic setup will run you around $1200, then the sky is the limit.
