Holy Hail!

Post by Sugarphreak »

Man a thunderstorm just whipped through downtown breaking windows and denting cars as it went. I looked down at the outdoor parking lot accross the street and all I could see was car alarms going off!!

I heard they got hammered ever worse in the NW!

Dude that was stupid!!!!!

We were driving down Memorial drive when it hit so we quickly pulled over to a side street and parked under a tree but unfortunately the roof took some dents before we could get under cover.

I just called Will at E-Mortal and they said they crammed my baby as far in the garage as they could get it to be safe but they didn't get the big stuff down there. Gotta love a garage that takes good care fo your baby like that! Can't wait to get her back!!!

Doing the idler arms, tie rods, remove the cat, retune the engine so hoping for about 40 - 50 more horsepower after all is said and done! And better gas mileage!!!

On Memorial - the ice cudes were bigger than golf balls!!! Friggin hackey Sacks from Hell!!!!

Man up by UofC and the stadium it was nuts, my friends car was totally trashed... broken windows, broken sun roofs and mirrors... terrible.

When I returned my rental this afternoon I had a look around the lot (downtown), most of the cars were damaged with huge dimples.

Yeah - checked the Honda a little better last night and sure enough there are dents all over it.... not that bad but definitely de-valued so will be putting in an insurance claim for sure and probably just take the cash as it doesn;t bother us in the slightest....

Trading it in a few years on a new pilot when the wife is done school and they only give book value anyways....

We'd just driven out of town to the Kanaaskis, Beaver Flats for some pre-Waipourous camping--our friends caught up with us and told us about the storms that we had just missed in Calgary, especially the NW. We managed to miss this one.......

This missed me in Cochrane completely! I was driving in town that afternoon looking NE-ish and saying how effin nasty this storm cloud looked... No doubt that was the one!

My little daily driver G6 is so flimsy I shudder to think the damage if it went through that. The UofC video is amazing... Holy crap
