oh damm! Well done, you got yourself a smart lady there! We are now in the market for a new vehicle for my wife. She is currently driving a 2002 Ford Winstar, it's been quite good actually, but it nearing a point it needs a lot of work, and not worth doing. My son and myself are trying to push her to an H3.... but she is a tough cookie. I'm going to pass on your post to her. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

make her happy and add propane kit - smart resale value feature, lots of suv owners will take a hit on value but diesel and propane engines will stay strong- 62 cents a litre - cant go wrong

Well.... I tried throwing that at her, didn't seem to care for that thought at all... she said it sounds too complicated. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . We did however test drive a 2008 H3, she kind of liked it. All the way along she said she didn't really like them, but once we got up close to one, she kind of liked it. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... SMILEY.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/hugs.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> ...However, we had driven a 2008 Ford Edge before that.... she REALLY liked that <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> So it came down to those two vehicles.
Enter... my brother-in-law. He works for a Ford dealership running the Fastlane part. She tells him exactly what she wants in the Edge.... doesn't he not only find one, he finds one in the budget range, with EVERYTHING she wanted!!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' /> I hate my brother-in-law now. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
Not a done deal yet, we have to see the truck first, but it doesn't look good to be able to join the Dual Hummer family. I will admit the Edge is really nice, but it's not a Hummer.

Ford isnt prestige brand...the only way to tell her the difference is to compare the Hummer as premium brand(example CADILLAC MERCEDES BMW GUCCI VERSACE BURBERRY )
and Ford as JOE(wallmart) ,roots, guess, dodge, honda - average non prestige and quality.
2nd point is safety - she can feel more secure and safe driving a hummer
