Contest!

G'Day Hummer family...



It seems like events and outings have been a little slow lately ( or if not this would be a lot of fun anyways ) so I thought I would get some input on a fun new contest...



I was thinking of offering a $150.00 gift card through my company Mortgage Results (mybestmortgage.ca) to a restauraurant or retailer that I have access to off the huge gift card rack at sobey's. The list is rather extensive so a lot to choose from, for the person that sends in the coolest picture that is NEW (so off a new outing) between now and say... June 1st, 2012.



I'd like to keep it simple and fun so I'm thinking it will be done by simple popular vote on new pictures submitted of your hummer. Anything, so could be muddy, articulation, supermodels all around it, funny situation... Anything that would get the popular vote!



What say all?

Excellent idea! Was was thinking lately we should discuss organizing another huge Spring run like we did last year... Something like April/May when the weather is starting to turn around!



This would be a great perk for those out with the club for the first time!

You can count me in for one of the next Alberta events. I just picked up an H1 and just working on getting someone to give me an out of province inspection on the thing. Then I'll be back up and ready to go wheeling. If you know anyone that goes a little easier on the out of province inspections let me know.

My son's Ford Ranger Forums does this all the time, only I don't think there are prizes just bragging rights. He is always off taking pictures of his truck in different places. One was simply to be taken showing the competition, so like in front of a dealership or advertisment for them.. stuff like that. If I get the opportunity, I'll submit something for sure.

*Side note: As he said, I am out taking pictures all the time for my forums. Generally, its a bi-weekly challenge, for bragging rights..and for fun. The most recent one was "a picture of yourself inside your Ranger" Then the Admin puts up a poll at the end of the week for all the entrants, and the public votes on whos they like best. It keeps you busy, and your truck clean(most times!)
