Have you ever wanted to see what happens inside the General Motors Plant in St. Catharines???

Here's your chance! Bring your GM-powered classic to the show and register for a tour!

The date for our annual GM Powertrain St. Catharines Auto Show Event is Friday August 10th. 2012.

There is no charge (that’s right…. it’s free!!) for registration; this is a one day event, rain or shine. The registration table opens at 9:00 AM, the show wraps up at 5:00 PM.

This year our special guests are the folks from the Buyers & Builders Ontario Meet & Greet (BBOMG.com). Expect a huge Camaro following here…

The S & S is open to all GM powered vehicles. Those registering a vehicle are given the opportunity of participating in the plant tour. There is also a special limited tour of the Dyno Lab. We have vendors, a portable dyno and a fantastic BBQ available with proceeds given to charity.

Registration can be done electronically from our site (http://www.gmpowertrain.ca/). There will be a club participation award so tell us what Club you belong to. Goody Bags will be given to the first 250 people to sign in the day of the show!!

We build Corvette, Camaro, Cadillac as well as other great Engines!!

Note: For the Plant Tour, adequate footwear must be worn – Full leather shoes with a heel no higher than 1” and NO open toes or heels. (No running shoes or sandals will be allowed in the Plant) Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection will be provided.

Happy (GM Powered) Motoring

Mike the Mechanic @ GM POWERTRAIN

P.S. we impressed the Camaro club by exiting the show and park as only a Hummer can over the sidewalk and curb. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />

We are normally away on vacation when this happens..as we know some people who go with classic cars. If we are in the city, I'm sure we will attend.

They work weekends! This plant is not even 10 minutes from my house... GM used to give plant tours at both plants in St.Catharines years ago. Their open house was Friday afternoons and Saturdays til 4 or 5pm or something. I always got taken on a Saturday because my parents worked on Fridays. They would draw so much more of the public if it was held on a weekend that's all I'm saying...
