Does anyone have experience in buying a trailer in the states and bringing it up here? I'm looking to buy a trailer for my truck but don't know where to start. I am trying to get answers myself but trying to find them on our MTOs website is frustrating to say the least.
there is a company in Quebec that has or at least had them in stock. they are Canadian army that were never used, same trailer but different model number.
sorry, cant remember the company but it cant be to hard to find.

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
(try that in your prius)[/center]
there is the army surplus in Beloeil that may have few in stock.
there was also a depot around BFC Long Point around St-Hubert that you could get used army vehicle and accessories at auction but dont know if its still going on.

If it's like a car it has to sit at customs for 2 or 3 days to clear that it is not stolen if it is used if it is new I believe you will have to pay duty on it as for plating it not sure do you have access to a car trailer? Also not sure if you have to use a broker pretty sure you don't all government looking for is there cut tax <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... adbang.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':headbang:' />.
I will ask a buddy of mine for ya if I can track him down.

It definitely is not new. It's a military trailer that has been decommissioned (I can only assume).
I love our government and all their asinine rules that are not need!
That would be awesome of you to ask your buddy. Thanks John!
