Sooooo I went to the woodbridge meet last night and met some old friends and met some new ones <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />
I had to leave early because yesterday was my sons 11th birthday and promised to take him out for dinner. I hadnt got 2km up the road when both belts on my truck came off and I lost everything, brakes, steering.... the works!
I called Derek and before I knew it, he was on his way home to pick up a new belt and bring it back. within 35 minutes of the first call we had it installed on the side of the road and I was on my way to my sons birthday dinner <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... SMILEY.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />
Driving a HUMMER is one thing, but being part of the CHC family....... now that is so much more <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />
So, Derek once again thank you from me and one very happy young boy (even though I turned up covered in dirt and grime) we had a blast last night and that my friend is in no small part to you and Julie and the best club in the world.
PS;
has anyone else ever noticed that you always break down when you have no tools, spare parts and are wearing flip flops and <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' /> shorts
