Re: Hummer involved in hit and run
It was an H2 from what i saw in the news pics. Don't know the name of the color. Like a silver gray. Couldn't get a plate from the pic. Same color as Norms truck i think. I saw it in the city pulse news rotation and they show a pic of the Hummer with significant damage to the front end.
This is not the truck but its similar to this.

CP24 saying it was a rental, they should have the drivers licence on file if that is the case.

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!

Sucks! They need to find this guy, at least with it being a rental it will be unlikely the pile of cow dung is a member here. Otherwise I was going to be on the top of the list to get him/her booted with much fan fair. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rtroll.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':troll:' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... t-argh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':argh:' />

"Police say the Hummer, which was a rented vehicle, fled the scene and was later found abandoned near Dixie Road. Police are now looking for the driver."
They were not a true owner. Saddens me to hear of this incident.

Re: Hummer involved in hit and run
This is what I hate when something bad is happening and it involves a Hummer……there are narrow minded people who immediately blamed the Hummer for causing the tragedy.
I have already got several comments from friends who hated the Hummer……they said that Hummers should be demolished, Hummers don’t belong on the roads, the road will be a safer place if Hummers were gone…..stuff like that…
I was offended…..but then again I told them that it is the fault of the driver who drove the Hummer.
The guy could have driven another type of truck and caused the same result.
If Hummers are bad how about a semi truck which is much bigger than the Hummer ?
If a semi truck hit the van…the whole family could have died not just the 7 year old boy.
So do we have to demolished all semi truck so that the road can be a safer place ?
The reason that one of my friend who hated the Hummer, made nasty comments about the Hummer is because he has the exact type of minivan who got demolished by the H2.........
I think that he kinda takes this accident personally.......
