The reason that one of my friend who hated the Hummer, made nasty comments about the Hummer is because he has the exact type of minivan who got demolished by the H2.........

If they feel that way, they really are not a friend.... are they.

You're kinda right Martin, but I know that my friend made the nasty comments on purpose because he just wants to play a joke on me.

Probably to return the joke I should tell him that when he is driving his Honda Odyssey he should be careful if he sees an H2 in his rear view mirror.....

Sad to report but Rhino has again been attacked after this acciddent . Some Idiot tried to rip off the snorkle unit breaking and pulling out the rivets holding the upright to the window frame of the truck. We have repaired the damage with 3 # 10 screws in their place.

It seems that Police have some problem with getting info from rental agency.( maybe stolen from rental place)

To detractors just put out that truck was NOT a regular Hummer Driver and may even not been a legal driver and that Hummers have rescued other drivers in bad situations.

We need more good press why I try and put club foreward at charity events .

The latest news video.

http://toronto.ctvnews.ca/local-news/pa ... eld-357076

I am going to stay in the garage for a while till this blows over. I have heard all sorts of bad comments about Hummers since this.

The truth is a Hummer is a deadly weapon in the hands of an idiot. Its bigger than most cars on the road and will cause more damage as a result. Perhaps Hummers should not be rented to just anyone. Maybe a law should be passed that requires background insurance check for violations before renting out big vehicles.

As a club we should extend our condolences to the family and show support and that we are not idiots. I propose we send some flowers and a card. I pledge the first 20 bucks!!

If anyone was wondering, this particular 'luxury car' rental agency offers a H2 for $180/day or $1200/week + insurance & security deposit.

This piece of garbage should never be allowed behind the wheel of anything larger than a pedal car. No, change that...there's one little kid that won't be able to even have fun with one of those. I hope this guy's next girlfriend will be named "Bubba", and they share a 6x9 room for a few years.
