Kinetic Tow Rope

Post by whitehumh2 »

As many of you may know, there is a big difference between a Tow Strap and a Snatch Strap.

A tow strap is great as a winch line extension to provide a solid link between vehicles BUT they are not designed for shockloading!

A Snatch Strap or Kinetic Tow Rope will allow you to gather momentum to pull out a stuck vehicle and protect both vehicles from a harsh impact in the process!

I have a 1 1/4" MasterPull Super Yanker in my H2 and I must say it is amazing how effective it is!

If you need a lighter duty version try this one; http://mibro.com/kingcordrr/

It just so happens to be on sale at Canadian Tire for 40% off!!!

Btw, I bought two of the 7/8 x 20 ones and tested it yesterday using my suburban to pull out my stuck in the mud skid steer...WORKED GREAT!!!

Another great brand is:

BUBBA ROPE http://www.bubbarope.ca/

Remember these types of recovery ropes make it safer for everyone...so why not get one while they are on sale!
