Just recently I've been getting was black Goo on super warm days coming from the steering wheel seam.

What would that be from?

My steering wheel starting to wear out I might have to break down and get another one somewhere.

Just have to check around what's available used or new.

I would go with a new grant wheel or a momo...since you have to change it why not upgrade it!

Never heard of Grant, I must Google it now.

Grant wheels are more affordable. I Have had one one my rock buggy for over 18 years and still looks great. Can also get a quick disconnect if you want to remove it for a vehicle theft deterrent.
