Biggest tire I put on our H2 was 37 in tall.

After we went to a 24"dub wheel and scorpion tires, that was about 35"

When we had our exhaust manifold leaking we've simply just replace it with a used one from the scrap yard.

Had a few broken studs

I had the exhaust manifold leak and decided to replace the stock manifolds with a set of shorty headers.
Good luck getting the manifolds off, you will have to drill out some bolts from the block for sure.  While you're in there change your oil dipstick tube as the original will be rotted away.
