Re: Alberta September Trail Run
Holy crap the day that happens to anyone in the group let alone me.. that's the day I call it quits!
I think I'll pass on staying over night but if anyone was interested in hanging around for a bit, having a fire or something and staying out a bit later I'd definitely be up for that!! So this is a McLean run I gather? Or were there still some thought of venturing to the falls? I'd love to get to the falls while it's still green out, but the last time I was at McLean was November 2010 so really I am not picky either way!

ARRRGG!!!
So I checked up on my new wheels from Summit racing... the ones that were in stock when I called in, they sent them out to somebody else and threw me onto a backorder until the end of October!!! So once again I had to cancel my order, then to my surprise JEGS now has them in stock... so I called in, asked they get shipped out ASAP. Hopefully I get my wheels next week.
Meanwhile my truck has been in for work since the 19th, called in today to see if I can pick it up this Friday... I didn't get a lot of details, but they are still working on it ad it sounds like it is going to be at least another week past that <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Re: Alberta September Trail Run
I'm down for either!
I think that sounds like a good idea having a fire after... nice way to end the day. Also it would be kewl to see the falls one last time this season.... that is an awesome run with lots of scenery and fun along the way!
Finally only 2 weeks away..... it's been a long time since we've been out there!

Re: Alberta September Trail Run
I know JL knows how to pull up a map of the area....
He posted one in one of our previous runs but I can;t find it so hopefully he'll see this and post it again.... It's north of North Ghost Lake Rec. area off of highway 40...

Re: Alberta September Trail Run
Here it is... the map is the third one down..
http://www.srd.alberta.ca/RecreationPub ... tions.aspx
Karl will be coming up from Lethbridge, Gary comes down from Edmonton.... we're all over! It's a great area. I'd love to find something more in the middle but haven't as of yet....
Oh - if you're from da' Hat - there is a hotel right by where we meet in Cochrane...
There's more down south as well - did racehorse creek last year and although it was a nightmare..... it was also a blast!!!!
