Excellent your coming out then! I'll send you a pm with some more details.

Uh oh... PM box is full!! Sent you an email..

Oops! I didn't realize I had those many old PMs there, from two or three years ago. I've cleared them out. I received the e-mail too, so it's all good. Thanks!

you wanna meet up with me here ? ...i usually meet up with anyone going at the ikea parking lot around 5:45am ...I can pm you my cell if you want to do that

If you can PM me that, that would be great. I might be going to Calgary tomorrow night, after speaking to a friend. I'm bringing a photographer friend along, and he's not keen on a 5:00 AM morning, so he's asked friends in Calgary if we can stay there. I think we might. But PM me nonetheless and we can touch base.

I'm bringing a friend along who is a photographer, so I hope to get quite a few photographs taken. I still need to find time to remove my running boards and cargo box tonight. Argh.

Yes, don't forget to do that!!! I forgot once and we got to try out Sugar's new winch pulling them back into shape!!! Saves them,..But it is a pain!

I have a meeting in far SE Calgary today at 3:30 so I won't get a chance to do mine until tonight as well, they come off pretty quick though!

So are you meeting up with Gary and heading down?

P.S. I'm dying the grey out of the facial hair tonight so nobody laugh if it comes out too dark!! Sucks being in the fourties... at least I still act 16!!!

LOL! Now that I think about it I have no idea what color you hair really is! Taking the low-hair to no-hair approach like I do... Actually I've been thinking about shaving the H2 logo onto my head one of these times...

Drive safe everybody! Be talking to you bright and early...

I arrived in Calgary tonight and let Gary know so he's not waiting for me. I got the boards off and the cargo box off and I'm good to go.

I just arrived home and wanted to thank everyone who made it out and made me feel welcome. The local group is significantly different now than when I owned my last Hummer. Back then, it was almost impossible to get anyone to go off road. Definitely don't have that problem now!

Managed to get through it all without breaking anything, fortunately. We did have one front driveshaft as a casualty. Well, more the U-joint. Gaza and I needed to run though as we had a long drive ahead of us. How did the field repair go? I'm hoping well!

I should have photographs within a day or two.

Thanks again everyone. Talk to you soon!

I still don't believe I did that!!!!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!! And not even on video!!!

I just called around and found out that the main shaft is a dealer part.... not what I wanted to !@#$%^ hear.... I can't have this one rebuilt as the U-Joint end got chewed up so not worth the risk.

I made a post to see if anyone knows of a newer H2 at a wreckers otherwise I will order out of Montanna but it's usually cheaper to drive down there believe it or not....

Up until then though.... had a blast!! Thanks B-Man for helping with the field repair!! (doing it is more like it )...

I have the feeling this will be an expensive moment of cockiness.... U think it would have worn off after leading the group down the river bed (Dry!) trying to scoot by you... that was fun though actually!!!!

Guess I'll be dusting off my bike for awhile... good thing I work from home!
