Well, I've still got no truck... so I don't know if I am in or out.

It starting to be a bit of an issue because I need to run down the kalispell Montana to pick something up before it starts snowing (which I imagine is very soon).

The good news is that the fenders have been done up totally now and while they were concerned the line-x might not adhere, they apparently turned out awesome. A final coat of metallic topcoat is being applied this weekend so they match the truck, can pick them up on Monday.

It should look pretty wicked once they go back on.

BTW: Where can I get GM pop-tabs (plastic rivet things) for fenders?

I know how you feel.... My baby has been sitting in the driveway now for over a week!!! I still haven't been able to was her yet!!

I will be driving up to Edmonton this week as I need to get that half shaft so I can get her back on the road. We were trying to time it so that he would be closer to Calgary but not having a vehicle is driving me bananas!!! I can't imagne how you've been feeling as it's been a couple weeks now eh??

still got 3 weeks so I think you'll be good, I wanna make sure I get my lights installed by the next run as running at night is really really awesome!! I will NOT get cocky this time!! But going down that hill at that angle was pretty kewl!!

Jim: Great to hear from you buddy!! Holy crap you are far away now!!!

Yeah - I can't wait to get out there again!!! Seeing the pictures makes you realize just how much fun we have on these trips!!! watching the water falls on Karl, and then my baggy closes on him... I was hurting from laughing.

Spoke with RW this morning and we're going to see what his schedule is like over the next few days but if he doesn't have a load to come down south - I'll drive up on thursday and grab the shaft and then grab the new boot & CV joints this week as well and I'll give you a call B-Man to have your friend do the rebuild. I have no doubt it will only take 10 minutes - But I've never done it before so wouldn't mind watching to see how it is done. I won't have an issue installing the new shaft - I'll just have to get a ring crimper for the boot clamps.

And then the lights!!!!! I'll probably get Rick to put those in as I've also never done a relay before - dunno even which one to get???
