Re: alberta october 15th trail run
So some good news and bad news:
Good News:
All the body work is done to my truck, painted and cleaned up! Fenders are done, had a look at them today and they are amazing! The only thing left to do is re-mount the fenders, they have been trouble getting GM to send them the right clips, every time they get the wrong clips back. So they took the old broken ones down there in person to show them, the new clips should be in on Monday.
Bad News:
The new appliance I ordered in the US is coming in on the 10th of October and I will have to drive down there on the 15th to pick it up... so I won't be able to come out on this trip <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

LMAOL...
I got my @ss busted today.... I was passing through Cochrane and I must admit..... I had to go and have a look at the snorkel as I wuz a bit envious and I should have known B-man would be watching her like a hawk ( But of course it's not like you don't hear me coming...) - I actually didn't think he'd be awake yet as it was a Sunday but I should have known as his posts are usually at like 6 in the morning!
Sooo I'm totally pumped... I have the rack tied on for now until I fix it up (Needs the corners sanded and painted) and the light bar is mounted so will start getting things started this week and pop over the B-Man's to finalize the wiring and will be all set for the 15th night run!!!!
Once everything is done, I'll post a picture so y'all can see how it looks. Once this is all done, I'll look around for some decently priced LED's for the side and one for the rear so I can light up all around the Hummer. I also have a neat idea for everyday driving lights for a neat mod I want to design for the front once I got some more funds.....

Ya b-man its called "Cap-it" , that's where I got mine and there is a store in calgary . When you're there check out the dually 2 , same size as the ones I have but has 6 led's instead of 4 and you can have both flood and spot light on the same light.

Re: alberta october 15th trail run
How many Hummers are likely coming out for this ride? I'm sure thinking I'd like to make the trip out if I can! Can you give a little more detail on where you're planning the route? I've spent a fair bit of time driving through that neck of the woods (highways only <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) and as a prairie boy been damn curious about what you could see down some of them trails out there!
