You have an i-pad, lol. There are a few guys who have been bringing them to meetings at work instead of notebooks, it takes everything in me not to make fun of them... which is good, because usually somebody else does a few minutes later <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':mrgreen:' /> They are fun gadgets none the less!

Meh, don't worry about this so called "Ryan" guy. He is likely a troll, somebody who signed up just to posts things to get a rise out of people. We have been fairly lucky not to get too many on this forum, other sites I use get tons of these types. You guys are best to just ignore the post, have the admin ban him... otherwise you are giving him just what he wants, a reaction.

For the future, if you get a first time poster like this on here putting down owners or being a jack-ass right off the bat. Don't repsond in the thread, just click "REPORT" on the left hand side and have Derek ban his account.

I think it’s time that this so called “group” needs to do a little self refection.

To start with a new member “Ryan” states his opinion on a vehicle and right away he is personally assaulted with name calling “Troll” and threats of being banned from the club. I think members who make personal attacks should be the ones considered for the banning process.

I also have to question who wrote or has read the book on “how not to make friends”. This “group” has had numerous “new” turnouts for events however none of the “new” end up becoming “old”. The group remains the consistent core of 5 or 6 members. Could it be because of their poor conduct during such events? Drinking while driving, stripping down naked in front of everyone including children to go swimming or just driving like idiots on and off the trails. Or is it the lack of off road driving experience and the lack of proper equipment (winches, jacks, etc) that they bring to these events.

I have been out with this “group” and I have to say it’s all of these reasons and more. Self reflection, that’s all I’ve got to say.

I agree Harold!! These are a horrible group of people who never, ever take into consideration the welfare of others!! They are extremely rude to newcomers. Why I remember being a newcomer myself at one point and all that handshaking, advise giving, and help on the trail was too much!!! I actually think they would rather never have those pesky outsiders infringe on their tight friendships. And drinking while driving??? Isn't that illegal? Oh and that whole skinny dipping thing was WAY out of line......Imagine a man going naked for a swim 30 yards away from a goup of adults and young boys in the middle of NOWHERE!! Disgusting!!! I can see why you never come out....Thank goodness, eh!
