..... looking forward to seeing you again on one of our runs..... but yes... u have a ways to go now..... when are you going to get stationed in montanna??? that's a quick nice drive!! i love it there! u can tell they also like the albertan's coming down as they totally nice and i dont get a cavity search like some of the other border crossings...[/quote]

Dude--I'm done with the Air Force gig--retired after 22 years!

No more getting stationed anywhere--we're settled back in the panhandle of Florida where we'd built our house (hoose) a couple of years ago.

Oh, about the body cavity search--there's nothing like being an American with a HUMMER and travel trailer going across the border; I thought border patrol was going to water board me!

The guy asked if I'd ever owned any guns and it went really bad from there---though I told him repeatedly I'd sold all of the guns many years ago. I was pretty convinced he was going to dump the entire trailer and start ripping panels out of the deuce. Wow, welcome to Canada!

Yeah the border guys are getting a little overzealous lately from what I have been hearing, I am heading down to MT this upcoming weekend and I was going to throw my new rims on the Hummer... then I thought to myself "Let's see... will that attract unwanted attention: yes!". So no rims until later, lol.

haha, that was my first trip out with the Hummer club here too! I still remember the fire crackers because they were "HUMMERS"... lol. Good times! I've been learning new things ever since.

Yeah everybody else traded their H3's for H2's... traitors!!

I was briefly looking at trading for something else, but at the end of the day having a HUMMER combined with a truck is really working out for my home reno's!

Wow really? Our border guards actually questioned stuff? huh, who new. I go back and forth to the US all the time, they are all paranoid on the US side, looking in the windows, staring at you, asking loads of questions... been dragged into the building twice (while truck is searched) then had my truck x-rayed on another occasion. Coming back to Canada, they don't even get up off their chair. You must have looked like a REAL bad guy. I'm not sure I've ever been asked about guns or weapons at the Canadian side, but pretty much every time going to the US. Canada seems more worried about alcohol and cigarettes then weapons. Even though they both tend to kill a lot of people.
