OK guys, it looks like I'm in for both dates. I guess I can be the 'H1 guy' on the pre-run - if that's OK.
All I need is a time and a place.
As for the 19th, I'm hoping to get at least one truck down from Edmonton.

Awesome!!! I love eating humble pie when out on our runs.... goes well with the beer!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />
I think on Saturday we are just meeting in the parking lot across from Timmy's in Cochrane. I know it's at Crappy Tire for the 19th but pretty sure it's the usualy spot for this Saturday... this is just an inproptu run to scout trails for the 19th - but usually end up being alot of fun too!
Scared yet excited to see how much snow is out there...

I went to Margaret Lake last weekend. Dry and clear the entire way - could've done it in a Subaru.
I did pull out a moose hunter that was stuck in some muskeg though. He had about 1/4 of the moose in his truck and decided to drive the rest of the way to the carcas so he wouldn't have to carry it the 750 meters. He made it about 5 truck lengths and had ZERO recovery equipment, including tow points.
Several folks tried to help him by using tie-down straps without success.
Hummer to the rescue! He was out in a flash.

Nice! So I'm guessing you know the Cochrane area then? Here's a link to where the meeting spot is just in case... Google Maps - Street View and we roll in around 9:00am. I wonder if you can squeeze the H1 through the Timmies drive-thru...
So I guess that means we're on 100% for sure this Saturday then? Excellent!
I'm gonna recommend the river crossing across from the pit area this run... good little trail section in there!!

I went in on the lost knife trail and out the road. I went down to the river by the gravel pit for fun in the way home.. I understand there's a bridge out on that trail though....

Barring any disasters, I should be able to attend both.
I'm getting a service air suspension message every couple days - I suspect my compressor is on its way out. It takes awhile to raise now. Should be good though.
