Actually, I pulled the ticket out last night and read it. He let me off the hook more than I thought. He was talking a lot but I wasn't really understanding - he was going to write me up for stunting. Now what he said makes sense - he was giving me a break -because- I didn't have my registration. (Stupid, I know. But had I not given him that reason, I might have gotten stunting instead.) Stunting brings six demerits - failure to produce registration is none.
So in retrospect, it could have been much worse!

That picture looks like a parking lot. Was he going to nail you for stunting in a parking lot?
