So was wondering if anyone wanted to get together and take a Saturday Night and attend Barrie Triple Drive IN or new name Sunset maybe May 4th and see the New Avengers, 2012 Movie release dates check out link gives dates for releases.
They have a great playground for the kids lots of room and there are 3 screens so I'm sure we could all agree on something?
Thoughts were bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
Barrie Triple/Sunset Drive In
If enough interest we could also go out on an afternoon/Day run to check out some trails maybe get all muddy and show up caked in mud
Let me know what ya think or if interested?
Cheers
John

I brought mine last year the BBQ and was asked to shut it down or leave new management sucks that's why I'm going to try and get carload price that they offer on Thursdays 15.00 a car load
As for the lazyboy love to see that.
I do recommend lawn-chairs ,comforters and we can leave a few spots open where we can all sit together or we can be lazy and use our radio's lmao.
Now on the BBQ note we do bring our own goodies pop,chips,sweets,etc.....
Cheers

I can tell you why they don't what a BBQ. For several years now the operators of the theatres, (drive-ins, or regular) get almost nothing from the ticket sales for the movies. The movie companies take more then 80% of the ticket sales. This is why the snack bars charge so much, because this is the only way they can actually make money and stay running. Apparently years ago it was the other way around, but over the years they have taken more and more and more. When I used to work in the alarm business I was repairing a system at a drive-in, the guy ended up giving me 10 free passes to any movie, any night. I made a pretty big deal about it, as that was saving me a fair bit of coin.. he said pffft! not costing me anything really, and then explained the details. We still bring our own pop and stuff, but my wife is a "movie popcorn" lover, so we always have to buy movie popcorn.

Just because I drive a HUMMER don't mean I don't care about the planet.... in fact it means I can get to most parts without any help!
