Event Name: Stettler Grime & Shine
When: June 15th, 2013
Time: 11am to  3pm
Who: Anybody with a 4x4.
Where: The Brick parking lot directly behind Tim Hortons in Stettler

Details:
This upcoming Saturday (June 15th) there is a "Grime and Shine" happening at Stettler, Alberta. It is open to anybody with a 4x4, and there are already several other 4x4 groups with members confirmed as coming from local Alberta clubs such as ABJK, 4Low, Gas City Wheelers and Canadian Jeep Girls. There is no cost to participate unless you choose to attend the cruise and dinner to Big Valley after. However, I think for us hitting up a pub might be the best way to go!
 
Also don't sweat the shine, this event encourages dirty trucks as much as clean ones. The organizer is intending it to be pretty relaxed, although there area  few awards to be handed out too.
 
Another great thing is this event is attached to a much larger annual classic car show that happens there every year, so there will be a lot of cool vehicles to check out while you are there!
 
Really this is just a good excuse to get out for the day, if we get enough people going we can probably promote the CHC a bit while we are at it!

Calgary: This is just over a 2hr drive from Calgary, if we meet up at Tim Hortons in Crowfoot (which optimizes our meeting point for anybody coming from Cochrane) at around 8:00am, that gives us enough time to have our obligatory 30 minute chat, get organized and convey out. Gunna have to pass on the pub though, bringing the whole family to make a day of it - gunna be a blast! Love car shows!

It is my first time to go there as well, should be fun!

Too bad I didn't time things better, I have to drive to Stettler on the following Monday for a meetings... should have made it for Fri and stayed the night!!

I'll be bringing my dad and nephew...my pops love's the old cars. So I'm just going out for the day and won't be going to the dinner thing after. Hopefully this weather let's up so I can sand and paint my brush guard, it's looking rough after this last winter. I'm also ripping off those N - fab side steps, they are nothing but rust now..brutal. Gonna cut off the step part off and weld them to my rock sliders and put those back on, just need to find someone that welds...I need to buy a welder, even though I don't know how to weld lol. I need to get on my list of summer mods too. So I'll give one of you guys a text when I'm on the road and we'll meet up before hand in stettler somewhere . To bad you can't make it ramrod , next time. 

Yeah that sucks you can't make it, it has been so long since I've seen another H3T, haha!
