Hey Johan and all,

Don't expect too much in the way of a campsite. We are talking primitive crown land camping. No water, no washrooms. You need to bring everything because there is nothing. Just saying it is a far shot from the Hilton if you know what I mean☺

If you decide to hotel there should be something in Parry Sound. You would be about 45 min to an hour from Black Lake.

Have camped up there before and yep there are no amenities at all LOL!!! Cold lake if you feel the need to clean up a bit, trees for washroom needs, and not much else.  Anyone else coming up Friday evening?

Preparing the camp gear for Friday, looking forward to it! We'll arrive late afternoon for dinner and will try to navigate "to the right" as described in your previous messages...will call when we arrive.

I have to work until about 4pm but am planning on heading out as soon as I can.  Thinking dinner at the Golden Griddle just south of Parry Sound then up to the camp sites.  Anyone picking up a bundle or two of wood? Will look for you when I get there!!! Park somewhere conspicuous.

We did! Ran the Black Lake trail from end to end and had a blast. All got home safely and no break downs on the trail, touch wood LOL!

Did you's all tough it out sleeping outside? Or drive to parry sound?

Even looks wise weather seemed great there,

Also curious , is black lake advanced? Or like a Forrest tour?

Like any crazy holes or spots? Seems like a nice mild and sight full area, outdoors is defiantly nice

We camped on site Friday night. Was a bit chilly but otherwise the weather was perfect. The trail is not a forest tour but not a constant crawl either. It has a lot of everything. Deep water, rock ledges to go up, tight areas, you name it and it was there.
