The ALBERTA chat thread!

Post by Sugarphreak »

So this is our official chat thread! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

All random chat and discussions can be had within it! It will serve not only as a small chat thread, but also as the home base for some of our preliminary planning instead of drifting from event thread to event thread.

So to kick off the thread;

A ) I am nearing completion of my lift kit, got most of the passenger side all put back together and with a few friends coming over tonight to help me out I might actually be able to throw it on an alignment rack on Friday and hit the trails for the Beyond run on Saturday.

B ) When is our next run going to happen?

Lol...I think you just did....

I think basically it's a general chat thread and a very very good idea as we do like to chat a lot.... Image, we are a very social group! Image

Glad to hear that the kit is coming along nicely! Sorry I've been too busy as I like to give people a hand whenever possible. Looks like all the work I put on this one file won't have a positive outcome... Man, and that was my new bumper and winch too....

So when should we plan for the next trip.... February sometime?

Wah??? winter runs can be alot of fun, also can be much more dangerous.....but that sometimes leads to much more fun!

Key is to know who you are going with and to trust who you are going with, main reason why I won;t do another run with the beyond.ca group.... no trail honor...

Also why I wanted my new winch.... sigh..

So I got my entire front end back together last night and most of the way through installing new leafs and shocks. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />

Going ot be rushing a bit today after work, but I've got a freind who is going to sneak me into an alignment bay after hours. I should be up and running for tomorrow's run.

[/quote] Ah, you shouldn't worry so much! I won't leave you to die in a ditch somewhere, plus Greg is going to come out for the day too. You also need to meet Sabastian so you can start getting your parts from Bowness Auto for a lot cheaper. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... e_wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wink:' />

I am probably just going to do some easy trails tomorrow anyway to break in the new suspension. So if you want to come muck around, this is a good opportunity.
