Soooo....
Anyone coming on Saturday?
Meeting Ross in Cochrane.... Then meet Kory (Southern Alberta Off Road Club) at the Pitt and will do the falls straight out from there and barring issues (LOL - no hummers this time as Ross is bringing his defender) we should be able to go on the trail over the bridge that was previously washed out.... Still haven't been able to do it yet!
Nick - wanna ride B!tch?

I want to take lots of pics, this will be the last offroad trip for the defender with its diesel engine, going to be nice trailering it up there.
The numbers are certainly dwindling, don't worry Dave, we are still here!

I just need some 44's for my Fiesta, haha
I went racing last weekend, placed 3rd overall out of 59 cars. Really pleased about that

Auto cross? 3rd rocks! Great job.
I'm racing at Laguna Seca in 2 weeks. I raced there in 1988 with a motorcycle - and won. Hoping for the same juju....
I organized an event this week for a private viewing of a McLaren P1, a LaFerrari, F40 and an Aventador.... It's been a good week!

Yeah up in Fort Macleod. I really like the events, we do a practice day on Saturday and then grab a cheap hotel and hit up the pub with everybody afterwards. Then racing on Sunday.
I also have a pretty fun rivalry going on with a guy in an SVT focus. We are placing just 10ths of a second apart most of the time. He actually came in 2nd for this past event, beating me out by a whole 0.02 of a second, lol.

I've been able to beat him at previous events, but his car is dialed right-in and he is driving exceptionally well. I will get him at the next one! It has been a lot of fun.

Sweeeet!! Sounds like fun....
Hoping to have Ginger back soon - visited her the other day and she's sounding sooooo much better with all the bearings replaced... Just fixing an Castor that's out of spec and I should be good to go..... Frig these OPI's are ridiculous these days....
You basically have to have the car almost to new condition again before it will pass.... So needless to say all the little things that I wanted to do myself have now added up as had to be included in order to pass. Oh well, she'll be awesome once I get her back... The rumble of the 5 litre V-8 is music to the ears... may start to look around for the twin turbo set up and possibly replace the stock tranny with a 6 speed corvette... I guess that's a mod that will make it a whole new car..
Then maybe I'll race....
I may spend the time to rebuilt the AC unit sooner than now with this heat but we'll see.... I hate AC which is why I hadn't planned on it any time soon, but holy crap does she get hot inside....
Anyways - thuper exthited for tomorrow as haven't been offroading for quite awhile so looking forward to the day out...
Loosing a brother isn't easy so it's been pretty hard these days but time goes on and mends....
O - anyone know a good metal fabricator in the Calgary area - please let me know. The guy that was gunna built my custom light bar for me decided to catch a softball (Which aren't very soft) with his face so he'll be out for a few months. 4 lights to play with and no way to play wiff them.... :-(
