On the note of IPB to new server - I can provision space / bandwidth today if you need to unload this before November 1. I can also take over the domain as I'm a domain registrar as well.

If cost is a factor, I like the idea of a Facebook page. There are a couple of hummer pages on Facebook but nothing for Canadian hummers. If anyone is tech say, create a Facebook page and upload the content and give the members here a link so that we can still keep in touch. I recently purchased a hummer h1 about 2 years ago and the mechanical support is great here. I did attend a few meetings and it was nice to meet fellow hummer owners....so let's get a Facebook page for free and continue (if website is not going to continue)

So as an example and its just an example i created two Facebook pages. I just gave it a name so im not insinuating anything LOL I posted a couple things as an example.

The main public page everyone in the world can see and comment on post pics etc. Could be fun. LOL
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/ontariohummerc ... imeline</a>

The private page. Only group members can see and make posts but i think everyone can see the existance of the group on FB and can request to join and members can add you etc.
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/4106010 ... 423286/</a>

So basic idea and no big deal if its not what we are looking for and i can delete it.. Only took a few minutes to build other than uploading a vid.

Polar sorry to hear of your loss !
On site can we obtain the ownership of the club name and maybe assorted things in the Wax's hands . We (Kevin and I) have been to more hwy 11 cruiser events than Hummer stuff  even been invited to a new group GTA 4x4 out of Newmarket . If you need a GTA based moderator I can.
On facebook I don't care for it like Polarbear's comment and other little known facts its almost as bad as the cloud.

I have proposed the request of ownership of this site.
Lets give the system a chance to keep going.
I myself have not been on facebook,nor do I want to waste anymore time then needed sitting on a chair or looking at computer devices. Derek has received my request and I am on hold till he replies.

I will keep you posted.

Im backing Roy..... I like the site and i will even pitch in to keep it the same.. Having him in the H1 business simply makes sense in my opinion.

lol - for the 3rd time (I think) in this thread... I have experience with IPB, I run a hosting / domain company, and I can easily take ownership of the forum and provide the hosting required.

It'd be nice to have the community pitch in on the costs of the licensing, etc. once we get things on the straight and narrow.
