Paint callipers

I got some sweet rear calipers from crazy Canack, but won't be installing till mid week,
Now I'm looking at the nice clean bare metal, thinking.
Wouldn't it stay less rusty and look nicer longer if I paint then before installing?
If it's k to paint anything I should avoid? Probably would paint red.

I think a nice fresh coating of MUD would be the best!

Ok, all joking aside, painting them with a couple of coats of Dupli Color Red Caliper Paint would make them look great and keep them that way for a long time!
Just try not to paint the rubber parts...cover them with tape or a light coat of oil/Vaseline so that the paint won't stick. Then once it all dries you can wipe the rubber parts clean and it will be ready to install!
