I am heading to Moab in June for 3 weeks. Have been going over my rock crawler to make sure everything is cool.
Not that lucky. Had to replace all four steering knuckles in the 2.5 ton rockwells because they finally cracked after sip much abuse. Will doing the job I found I had a broken u-joint on the front driver side and never knew it. Tire was always still turning. It took out the shafts too.
Yes those are 2" finally axles shaft and 1500 series joints! One of my biggest breaks!

Lol, and stupid me thought Rockwell we're pretty much indestructible.
When I used to off-road those are my dream axles.
I was happy with my Dana 60s but Rockwell's were on another level

I thought so too. But 54 inch tires real havoc! Lol. Shows alot when you don't even notice the ears still grabbed each other to turn it.
